Heute konnte ich bereits einen Großteil des Quiltens erledigen. Ich bin noch am Überlegen, ob ich im Mittelteil noch die Quadrate aus den 4 verschiedenen Dreiecken quilten soll.

heften – basting

Ich mag beim Maschinenquilten keine störenden Nadeln im Quilt. Darum hefte ich alles von Hand.

I do not like any irritating pins in my quilt when machine-quilting. So I baste the quilt by thread.

Hello everyone,

the three layers are fixed with pins. I prefer hand stitched basting.

Afterwards it will be ready for machine quilting. I want to outline the diagonal lines, quilt in the ditch with walking foot. If only I would be able to handle this huge roll.
