As every year, find out in exclusivity the program of our activities on the show.
The greatest international textile schools at the centre of the stage !
Students from France, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Sweden, Austria and their teachers will exhibit their works.
The fair will also receive prestigious French school such as Duperré School and Universities from abroad like the Manchester University and the famous Royal School of Needlework, both flowers of the British textile teaching! Some of those schools will propose Masterclasses and will take part in “L’Université du Fil de l’Aiguille en Fête”.
“Men only” exhibition
This exhibition will let you discover that needlework is not only women privilege. Four British embroidery artists will present their works showing that men can also be excellent in that fine art.
The Sewing Bar
The Sewing Bar was a big hit on the last fair’s issue and will also be a part of the 2012 edition. Whatever your level, you will have the opportunity to sew your own shopping bag, for free, essential for your purchase on the fair.
L’Aiguille en Fête workshops sponsored by Pfaff and Husqvarna
During 4 days, you will have the opportunity to participate in workshops given by 15 teachers coming from all over the world. They will teach you their techniques and savoir-faire! Whatever your level is, you will find what you want! Have a look at our workshops planning enclosed or on our websites and register now
