The blue/purple thimble at the right is a new one-size type of thimble. I have not used it yet. My friend told me it is great.
A new addition to my collection. This thimble is from New Zealand. Isn’t it wonderful?
My repair work is finished. As it is very cold these days my husband likes to use it right now.
If you remember the top that our group finished recently, then you will recognise this hexies. They are some leftovers, I could not resit to use. This is the start of a new project. Not sure yet what to make. They are lovely to stack anyway.
This is a quilt I made 2005. The picture was taken Dec 2006, when the quilt was quite new. It is used each summer as a blanket by my hubby.
In the meantime the binding is fraying and even the backing fabric needs some mending. The colour of the fabric has changed. The original white can be seen where I ripped the label.
A friend and workmate visited Japan this year. I begged to get some Japanese thimbles and this is what I received. They are great useful tools and beautiful as well. I’ll not use them but add them to my collection.
